Kamala Beach is a ten minutes drive from Patong Beach. It is a quiet beach with only a few bars to enjoy and relax during day or in the evening. Hopefully, it'll stay like this and not be absorbed into mass tourism, like some beaches already did. You won't find high rise hotels, or shopping malls, because things tend to be on a smaller scale than the sister beaches of Patong and Karon. Instead you'll find lots of small guest houses, restaurants, shops, cafes, and perfect spots to watch the sun go down. You might even see the buffalos taking an evening stroll...

Activities at Kamala Beach

Relaxed, unhurried, peaceful, Kamala is a place to take it easy, feel the sand between your toes and appreciate the good things in life. Eat some great seafood right on the beach, at local restaurants or on the terrace of your hotel.

Nightlife is still low key - dinner on the beach catching the breeze, or at restaurant by the sea, or drinks with new found friends at a local cafe-bar, but with Patong Beach only a 10 minute drive away, it doesn't need to be action packed.
